19.03.2026

Upcoming event:

Reuse professionals gather in Tampere - the sector seeks common direction in the circular economy transition

Renet Reuse Network Association and Second Hand Tampere Association are jointly organising the Reuse Professional Days in Tampere on 14-15 April 2026.The event will bring together second hand, repair and reuse operators to share information, network and build a common future for a sector that is at the heart of the circular economy.

The Circular Economy Act and Producer Responsibility for Textiles - come and hear what the change means in practice

The reuse sector is undergoing a major transformation. Finland is preparing a Circular Economy Act to move from regulating waste management towards considering the whole life cycle of a product and promoting the circular economy market. The newly introduced Textile Producer Responsibility will accordingly tighten requirements for the manufacture, sale and disposal of textiles, making re-use and recycling a more central part of the value chain.

The professional days will seek a common understanding of what change means in practice for different actors and how the sector can be developed together.

Why join?

The two-day event is open to all interested parties and includes a wide range of industry expertise. The event will provide up-to-date information, discussions, networking opportunities and a shared view of the future of the sector.
