Second Hand Tampere is a community that brings together second hand operators in Tampere and Pirkanmaa - from flea markets and boutiques to sewing factories, shoemakers and recycling centres.
As an association, we form a network of small businesses whose strength comes from community and working together. For example, we implement the Second Hand Tampere map and the Tavara-aseman Second Hand event.

First of all: a warm thank you to all of you who voted for us!
Your votes make it possible City of renovation 2026 funding for our project in the Manse Masses vote, which is part of the city's community funding. This year's theme was sustainable and smooth everyday life. Funding was awarded to community-based actions that also support climate and nature objectives.
Second Hand Tampere's membership includes many repair professionals from different fields sharing their expertise. Handicraft skills are not just practical skills - they are also skills for well-being. The best thing about this is making things together with others, which has been proven to make people happier. Working together to maintain and repair everyday items not only makes life easier and saves money, but also brings a sense of community and joy.
Together, we will build a city of action over the coming year, where everyone can participate.
Our project will run during 2026 and is open and free of charge to all. We will provide more information once the project is up and running. Thank you for your support and for being part of the growth of the circular economy! We are particularly pleased to, that the Manse Massies recipients this year included a gratifying number of other openings around the theme of repair and maintenance. Together we are stronger and more effective in an important cause!
