We had an interesting exchange of ideas on the future of the circular economy with, among others, representatives of the City of Tampere and futurologist Ilkka Halava, whose inspiring keynote speech sparked many ideas.
We would like to share a few thoughts from the morning:
- Matching is the key to the whole digital era - whether it's people or services, learning new things, thinking creatively and matching is the future.
- Tampere is in an excellent position to lead the way in digitalisation, of which Finland is a pioneer.
- The necessity of facing change concerns us all - we can decide whether to rebel against it, settle for it or be an active player.
We at Second Hand Tampere want to be part of this development and innovate future services that promote the circular economy. As a concrete example, we discussed e.g. a map, i.e. ways to make circular economy services digitally accessible and findable.
What could artificial intelligence and digitalisation offer to second hand? What kind of services could be commonplace in the near future? How could Tampere also be a pioneer in this field? We would love to hear your thoughts on the subject!
Thank you for inviting us to the event City of Tampere!
