Tampere is to be positioned as the second hand capital of Finland, and the association's activities will be expanded to a nationwide level.<\/p>\n<h3>What we do<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>We act as a link between retailers, circular economy operators and consumers.<\/li>\n<li>We develop and strengthen the conditions for second hand and circular economy activities, with a focus on Tampere and Pirkanmaa.<\/li>\n<li>We bring together circular economy actors, businesses and communities in the region and act as a network driver.<\/li>\n<li>We open and maintain the debate on more sustainable consumption and the circular economy.<\/li>\n<li>We collect, produce and share information on the circular economy and circular economy behaviour.<\/li>\n<li>We engage, insight and educate through workshops, low-threshold events and other activities.<\/li>\n<li>We publish and develop <a href=\"https:\/\/www.secondhandtampere.fi\/en\/kartta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tampere's second hand and circular economy map<\/a>, which makes it easy to find the players in the sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Why this is important<\/h3>\n<p>The recycling of used goods is one concrete way to promote ecology and responsible consumption: extending the life cycle of products, saving natural resources and creating new activities for communities. As an association, we aim to make second-hand activities a natural, visible and valued part of urban culture and everyday life.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.secondhandtampere.fi\/en\/jasenyys\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Join us<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Second Hand Tampere ry is an open community - companies, associations and individuals can join and make a difference. As a member, you can become part of the network, get visibility, be heard and contribute to the mainstreaming of the circular economy.
